A Learning Adviser will meet you and help you choose the best course to improve your skills.
If the training is linked to your employment, we will contact your employer, with your permission, to discuss options.
The Learning Adviser will arrange this for you with a local training provider or college.
Once you have started your training your Learning Adviser will contact you on a regular basis to see how things are going. They will give you their contact details and if you have anything you want to discuss in between calls you are encouraged to contact them.
There are a huge range of nationally accredited qualifications that you can choose from. Your Learning Adviser will help you decide what the best option for you will be.

Training can take place at your workplace, Training Provider or local Connexions centre dependent upon the qualification chosen.
Your Learning Adviser will discuss the best location with you and your employer.
This depends on the course you take, your Learning Adviser will be able to offer more guidance on this.
You can be doing any type of job to sign up to a Learning Agreement so long as it's for more than 10hrs a week.
Some learners are improving their key skills qualifications or doing Football Coaching or Foundation Craft Awards in their own time - the job they do is not relevant.
To do some courses it is necessary for you to be employed in that occupational area, talk to your Learning Adviser who can help.
Don't worry - in most cases you can carry on training.
Nothing - the training and support offered under this programme is fully funded.
